    Fair Usage Policy

    This Policy applies to all subscribers to the Gendo Platform, whether under a Paid Plan, Free Plan, or Educational Plan.

    Terms of Service

    Capitalised terms used in this Policy have the meanings provided in the Gendo Terms of Service.

    Introduction

    This Fair Usage Policy applies to all subscribers to the Gendo Platform that is made available by Gendo Technology Ltd regardless of whether they have subscribed to the Gendo Platform under a Paid Plan or Free Plan (including an Educational Plan). This Fair Usage Policy also applies to each Authorised User that has been provided with a User Seat.

    The provisions of this Policy are without prejudice to Gendo's rights, and each subscriber's and their Authorised Users' obligations, under the Gendo Terms of Service.

    This Policy may be updated by Gendo from time to time by posting the new version on this page.

    Why is this Policy necessary?

    Gendo provides the Gendo Platform on a multi-tenant basis. If a single Authorised User were to place disproportionately high demands on Gendo's systems or infrastructure (for example, through submitting an extremely high number of Prompts within a short period of time), this could adversely affect their experience or that of other users. This Policy is designed to help avoid users' experience of the Gendo Platform being adversely affected.

    What does this Policy require?

    To protect and maintain the stability and integrity of the Gendo Platform, Gendo's business operations and equitable access for all subscribers to the Gendo Platform and their Authorised Users:

    • Each Authorised User's usage of the Gendo Platform must not exceed the scope of use that could reasonably be expected of a single individual human user. Authorised Users must not use the Gendo Platform through bots, scripts or other non-human means;
    • Authorised Users must ensure that their use of the Gendo Platform is reasonable and appropriate in light of their legitimate commercial or non-commercial purposes for using the Gendo Platform; and
    • Gendo may monitor usage of the Gendo Platform and, where deemed necessary by Gendo, temporarily restrict or suspend access to the Gendo Platform if Gendo identifies any activity that Gendo deems abnormal, excessive in volume or frequency or indicative of use of the Gendo Platform in breach of this Policy or the Gendo Terms of Service.

    If the number of Prompts submitted to the Gendo Platform by any user within any time period is deemed by Gendo to pose a risk to the stability and/or integrity to the Gendo Platform or Gendo's business operations, Gendo reserves the right to limit the number of Prompts that may be submitted by such user in order to protect stability and integrity of the Gendo Platform or Gendo's business operations.
