Does Gendo offer a free trial?
Yes, the free tier gives you 100 credits, renewed monthly. To get more credits or commercial rights, upgrade to a paid plan.
How many images can I generate?
It depends on your credit balance. Each time you click Generate, you’ll get 4 image variations and be charged 10 credits. If the generation fails or you don’t receive all 4 images, no credits will be deducted.
Am I charged for every image?
You’re charged 10 credits each time you click Generate, not when you download. Each generation gives you 4 images. If you don’t receive all 4 images due to an error, you won’t be charged.
Can the content be used for commercial purposes?
Yes — if you’re on a Professional or Team plan, you have a commercial use license and don’t need to credit Gendo. Free and Individual plans require attribution (“gendo.ai” or “Gendo” in the title) when publishing generated content. You’re responsible for any content you upload, generate, or share.
How do I know how many credits I have remaining?
Inside the Studio, hover over the Credits button in the top-left corner. It will show your remaining credits and let you manage your plan or buy more credits.
How often am I billed?
You’re billed monthly, starting from the day you subscribe.
When can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel at any time. You’ll keep access to your remaining credits until the end of your billing cycle. After that, your subscription won’t renew.
What happens to my unused credits at the end of the month?
One-off credit packs never expire — you can use them anytime. Unused standard subscription credits do not roll over. Your balance resets each billing cycle based on your plan.
What can I do if I run out of credits?
You can buy one-off credit packs anytime. Your subscription will also renew at the end of your billing cycle, resetting your monthly credits.
Do you have a pay as you go option?
To use our platform you will need a paid subscription. 1-off credits give flexibility for particularly busy periods, when you just want a temporary boost. Please get in touch if you'd like a usage-based-billing option.
How large a team can I have on a team plan?
You can add up to 500 members, all sharing one credit pool. One-off credit packs are available for larger teams. We’ll soon offer higher monthly credit allowances for bigger teams as part of the base subscription.
Am I charged if I don't get all 4 generations?
If a generation fails and you don’t get all 4 images, you won’t be charged. If you think you were charged by mistake or didn’t receive your files, contact us at support@gendo.ai and we’ll help.
Can other users see my images?
No your Gendo account is private. Only you can see your spaces, inputs, and outputs.
Can I upload NDA or sensitive project work?
Both Professional and Teams tier have been made with sensitive commercial work in mind. All of your uploaded and generated data stays exclusively within your account.
What file format is the output?
All Gendo outputs are PNGs and the resolution is 1024px on the shortest side.
How do I request a refund?
Subscription fees are non-refundable. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your Organisation Settings. After cancellation, your paid plan benefits will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, but you won't be charged for the subsequent period.
