Team Management
Manage seats, collaborators, and team members in your Gendo workspace.
How Does Team Management Work?
Team Management allows you to control who can edit, generate, and collaborate inside your Gendo workspace. You can invite team members, manage available seats, and remove users when needed. Members within the same organization can access all projects and canvases inside that workspace, enabling collaborative workflows. The Free plan includes one editor seat plus one additional collaborator. The Studio plan includes five editor seats by default, with the ability to add more.
Understanding the interface
Free Plan Collaboration
The Free plan includes one main editor seat — the account owner. Free users can also invite one additional collaborator who can access the project canvas, generate images, and collaborate on edits.

Studio Plan (Team Seats)
The paid Studio Plan includes 5 editor seats by default. Each seat allows a user to generate images, edit canvases, access all projects within the organization, and collaborate with the rest of the team. Organizations can add additional seats if more team members need access.
Seat Management Panel
To manage your organization and seats: click your organization name in the top-left corner of the Projects page, select Manage org, then open the Team Members section. Here you will see assigned seats, available seats, total seats, and current organization members.
Step by Step
Share projects with clients
Open a project, click Share, enable 'Anyone with the link can view your project', then copy the link and send it to your client. Viewers do not need a Gendo account and cannot edit or generate.

Invite team members
Go to the Projects dashboard, click the Invite button in the top-right corner, enter email addresses, select the role for the invited members, and click Send invitations.

Set access levels
When inviting users, assign different roles depending on their responsibilities: Editor (can generate and edit), Viewer (can view only), or Admin (can manage members and settings). You can change roles later from the Team Members panel.
Manage existing team members
Click the organization name, select Manage org, and open Team Members. Here you can view all members, see seat usage, change roles, and remove members. Removing a member frees up their seat.
For more on organisation settings and ownership, see the Managing Organizations guide.
Get Better Results
Free Plan includes one editor seat plus one additional collaborator — ideal for testing workflows before upgrading.
Share projects with clients via link for view-only access — no Gendo account required.
Check the seat counter (e.g. 1/5) before inviting new members to ensure availability.
Use role-based access (Editor, Viewer, Admin) to control what each team member can do.
